So I was playing around with HP Tuners today and realized the ECU was still pulling Spark and Fuel for traction control... Shut all that crap off and added 5 degrees of timing from 2,600-6,200 RPM. Should make A LOT more power now. Will update with another donut video perhaps lol

Get ready for more boost hahaha...

IMG_2462.JPG

Received my 2.5" pulley today from WeaponX Motorsports. I've got some plans for the next 2 weeks that I'm very excited about. Building up an LQ9 iron block and pulling the Aluminum block. My Wiseco -20cc pistons will arrive tomorrow which will give me around 9.6:1 compression on the new 402" motor thanks to a Lunati Voodoo 4" stroker crank and Lunati H beam rods.

Total boost will be around 12psi with a stock LSA damper for now. New 8 Rib truck accessory kit from LSsimple.net will be installed to help with belt slip. Max boost will be 15.5 lbs should I upgrade my damper with an interchangeable overdrive ring. Can't wait!!!

I'm also contemplating what to do about my transfer case... I don't know if I want to rebuild the BW4485 or not. I might swap in a NV149 and get rid of that POS. Will be rebuilding front and rear differentials at the and time as well and getting some new custom driveshafts so I can safely ? go over 100mph lol

A little update from the garage... I got my 6.0 LQ9 block back from being machined. Rotating assembly is now balanced and I already dry fitted the pistons & rods to check clearance for the Lunati 4" stroker crank. The -20cc Wiseco Pistons, Lunati 4" crank and Lunati H beam rods are ready to be installed after a little more block deburring. Also have a Brian Tooley Racing Stage 3 PDS Camshaft, BTR Dual Valve spring kit with Ti retainers and a BTR Trunnion Upgrade Kit. Heres a few pics of the goodies and I will try to keep this build thread updated as I go. I have a 2,800 - 3,000 rpm stall Circle D triple disc torque convertor going in as well. The 402" motor @ 14psi should get me to 750 - 800hp. Also pics of my new LSSimple 8 Rib front drive setup... Very impressed with the quality, I wouldn't use anything else. Stay tuned!!!

Things are moving along... Out with the old, in goes the new 402" beast. Wasn't planning on pulling the transmission but my crankshaft was so out of balance from the worn bearings that it chewed up my reman convertor and bell housing of the transmission. Luckily I have this awesome Circle D Triple Disc convertor.
