Man...so frustrating! After all of that work to still have a problem.

Did you change the cam? And if so are you 1000% sure that you got the timing marks lined up perfectly? If you didn't change the cam, did you inspect all of the lobes carefully? If your cam was damaged at all, then that would be the most likely source of your tick. Did you reconnect the MAF (easy one to forget)? Is the brake booster hose to the intake in good shape?

Those pins are the needle bearings from the roller. Chances are you have some of them in the oil pan too. Not a bog deal because they won't make it through the pickup tube screen, but...
here is a video of the live data, not sure if this helps anything

@Just00Jake Whatever the problem is, the motor needs to come back apart to find the answer
Well I wanted to give you guys an update, after all of the advice and time spent chasing ghosts I decided to pull the motor all the way apart and start from scratch. I've got a new cam with a little more performance, AFM delete, vvt delete, new injectors, upgraded springs, new plugs again, new oil pump(since I'm deleting AFM) new timing cover and cam sensor (since I'm deleting the vvt)... I don't think I've forgotten anything. My coils, and wires are new. After this everything except the crank shaft and the pistons will be new. I'll send a picture of what I got. I did want to ask though... I'll have to get my Tahoe tuned after this install, any suggestions on where to look to get this done? I don't have a clue. What should it cost ?

@Just00Jake There is a website where you can get your VVT and AFM tuned out for like $100, I can't remember the website but someone here will know.

Lifter trays, cam thrust plate, time chain tensioner are some more to keep in mind.

When you pulled the motor apart did you find out what the problem was?

That cam will need a full tune. @BlackBearPerf can hook you up with an initial canned tune for that cam to get you up and running, and then when you're ready, you use their Autocal device to log data from your rig while driving a 20-30 minute cycle with some full-throttle pulls, and they'll get you dialed in with a final tune. I went this route and am very happy with the results.

Thank you so much for that info, I wouldn't be surprised if I had more questions before it's over

I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I've actually been trying to work ahead so I can set aside the time to do this project. And no I have not pulled the motor apart yet, I am actually about to start right now. I was waiting to get my replacement parts in hand for the most part. I will absolutely keep you updated. I'll post a pic of what I received today. Thank you for the help
