I definitely agree with you, thanks a million!

How far away is it working now? My 2016 Tahoe would go like a thousand feet!
Yeah it’s crazy far. I can be down the street out of sight and hit the lock button twice and hear the horn chirp. Don’t know the exact distance but its far. It works through my office window on the third floor with the vehicle being about 150 ft away.

Yeah agreed. Anything I can fix I will do myself, even if it’s under warranty. I just hate to have them work on it. I had motor mounts changed because of the crappy idle, which did make it better some but not a whole lot, but found cigarette buts in the engine bay. Wtf. Got it tuned and raised the idle. Soo happy now by the way.

I see you’re in NOVA, which dealer do you go to.

I use Criswell in Gaithersburg

Pohanka in Chantilly. I only brought it in for that repair so don’t know how they are overall.

@Bob2C

Did you happen to notice if that antenna part # same across all the models?

Did you have to reprogram your remotes or was it just plug it in and everything worked?

thanks bud

I ordered the the 315mhz one. Check your RPO code. It will list which one you need. Rock auto has 2. There is a 433mhz one too. Not sure which vehicles got the 433. The frequency has to match up to your tire pressure sensors as well. I have code U77 which is 315mhz. Maybe they incorporated both frequencies into one later. Who knows what they did

Sorry. Just saw your post. Check my reply below or above. Lol. No reprogramming. Just plug and go.
