So, finally thinking of doing some maintenance on the yukon. Bought it back in October with 116.5k on it and have a whopping 118.7k on it now, I work 6 miles from home and rarely venture out much or we use the gf's malibu.

I am doing the filter, pan, and 1/2 and 3/4 solenoids that's for sure. I'm also going to replace the Sonnax accumulator pistons upgrade. I want to do the Sonnax boost valve while I'm in there, is the .500 valve a drop in piece for the 2001 Yukon SLT? That's really my only question regarding this entire deal as I think the rest is fairly easy. I am also looking at the Global Transmission corvette servo assembly that's easier to not fudge things up. The fluid is still pink on the dipstick and this was last served approximately 68k ago when the trans was replaced under extended warranty, my buddy got lucky and only had a $100 deductible lol

So, what do you transmission experts think?

I wouldnt freshen up a tranny with 60k or so in it. Fluid change and maybe a corvette servo install.
Recommended to change the boost valve at 50k, so I'd also like to replace the plastic accumulators as opposed to waiting til shit hits the fan down the road.

@01ssreda4 , what's the cost in a tune? I'd be about $100 all in on this upgrade with the fluid, filter, solenoids, and other parts.

Tune can go from 100 up to probably 500 I would guess. Youd get a lot more out of it then just the tranny shifting better though.

yeah but I'm talking about mechanical deficiencies, no tune can truly fix those

No, tunes dont "fix" anything. But you install something that adds more apply pressure, yet in the tune the apply pressure is only set to 50% of max, whats the difference if the end result is the same. Plus there are plenty of quick mods that still cant do what all a good tune can. It's also very obvious you know very little about what exactly is in a cars pcm programming.
