4l60e PWM delete

Nick, this thread is about the 4L60E, not the 6L80E.
(That said, yes, limiting TCC lockup to 5th & 6th in the 6L80 / 6L90 helps the geartrain last longer.)

Lol, yes i suppose it is. Haha. Had 6Ls on the brain when typing that response out.

That said, the OPs question has been asked and answered by me as well as others so /thread.

If it feels like more than a friendly thump that anyone else in the car would not notice, you should have it addressed, one way or another.

NickT, can't blame you for having 6L80s on the brain. Bet you rebuild more of those lately than 4L60Es & 4L80Es combined.
