when I am turning the 4x4 starts to bind now. Didn't do this before. Has anyone ever came across this ? And what did you do to fix it.

Ahhh...think we might need a little bit more information..like, what are you in, 2WD, Auto, 4WD? Unless it's snowing in Niagara Falls, and the roads are slick, you need to be in 2wd. Are you sure you are in 2WD and you are binding? Way to tell is put it into 4WD, you will here it lock in, then can you here it unlock when you come out?

Binding while going straight? In 4wd all wheels are locked so when turning the outter wheels opposite of the turn want to spin faster but cant because they are locked, that why you get the jerking binding feeling when trying to turn with 4wd on

Sorry for the late reply guys. So driving straight on a snow covered road is ok. No noises no binding. Turned into a parking lot that was snow covered and it slowed the truck enough to stop it. No noises but a skipping sound. Took it out of 4x4 and back to 2wd and it was ok. I have noticed lately in 2wd at full lock it is skipping. I don't remember it song that before. I checked front end all is tight but have a bearing on the way out. I can hear it driving.

That hub can get so hot, it can break, then the wheel may pass you. Very dangerous.

Replace the bad bearing. Went over the front end. The cv shafts don't seem to be seized. I am beginning to think there may be something wrong in the front diff. I checked the oil and it's is clean and Transfer case oil is clean. I am a bit puzzled. I figured I would find shavings or something for sure.
