Liking the 6.2 a lot so far.

Only thing that I don't is just the poor fuel economy, but if I look up EPA estimates for a L92, which is essentially what I have now with DOD gone, it's about what I am getting. About 12/18 is a stock L92, I'm getting around 10.5/16.5. It is 25 degrees out, so I am sure this will improve in spring.

I don't drive very far, so it's not a huge deal. Mostly truck is used on a 3 mile drive to drop my son off, then back home and parked.

Your mileage seems a little off to me because my L9H got the same mileage on E85 before it blew up. Even my 06 Sierra Denali LQ9 with AWD I'm seeing an avg of 16mpg mixed city and highway driving. Of course, thinking about it...... I'm sure you're having a lot of fun with your 6.2, those romps on the gas pedal will definitely cut your MPG's down, lol

The computer in my Tahoe tells me I'm getting better economy. I probably need to get it adjusted for the injectors on the 6.2.

Also, keep in mind its that time of the year where we get that winter blend gas. I normally see/take a 2-3mpg hit with it. Once, I switch over to E85 full time it will not matter

True, I didn't drive the 5.3 in this frozen weather yet post DOD delete to compare.

I'll continue tuning it. If it's still pretty bad, I will run a pseudo lean cruise tune

I have been running 93 since last fall and I can see a noticable difference in the mpgs, while still maintaining the same driving style.

I think im good. My regular run to the stores, about 10 miles mixed driving, netted about what I got from the cammed 5.3. It def burns more if you get on it. And my idle is burning a lot more, im gonna clean that up by disabling 02s at idle. Dfco is enabling a lot more and that also made a good difference.

Got a couple minor issues going on.

Smelling coolant from my upper rad hose connection area. It was smelling before I did the swap, I hope it's not a cracked radiator. It's a mishimoto I bought last year. I added constant tension clamps, but still smell it.

My rear washer fluid stopped pumping.
