Slow speed false abs modulation occurring.

Cleaned sensors once before and stopped false modulation meow its back.

Cleaned sensor mounting surface. Cleaned sensor. Inspected sensor connector. Resistance test shows 900ohms roughly on the three sensors I have. In range according to Haynes manual.
^^^what are the ways to test a sensor anyways? Hall effect sensors?

Swapped in an older "probably fine hub" timken. Did so on both left and right side. Possibly proving good hub bearings. Inspected teeth on reluctor ring. Bearings tight. Newer rotors.

Codes in history I just cleared today.
History Codes
CO226. Left Front Wheel Speed Signal Missing
CO265 Electronic Brake Control Module Motor Relay Circuit

CO269 Excessive Dump Time
CO281 Stop Light Switch Circuit

Probably going over as much wiring as I can as soon as I can next.

What do you peeps think!? Know any good tests I can perform with basic tools?

Also does anyone know of a decent scanner for abs with the scanner and the Device for the sensor/circuit testing?

Thanks!

You need a scan tool that can provide live ABS data (with high sampling rate) but also graph the data. Pull up graphs for all 4 wheel speed sensors and go for a drive at slow speed. Look for dropouts of voltage on one or more of the sensors.

Find out which sensor(s) it is and replace it. Recheck.

Definitely want to use a scanner but I'm just making sure I can't fix before I pay for a scan/scan time.

Can the diyer buy a scanner with live abs for a reasonable price?

Also: UPDATE

I got a new hub/bearing assembly on my right side now. It comes with abs sensor. Brand is moog. So my right side sensor is brand new.

What's a "reasonable price"?

At my shop, we could diagnose the ABS issue for $82.

I could go to shop and get it diagnosed I guess. It's just not as convenient as repairing myself.

Reasonable being somewhere under a grand.

My lube tech actually bought that one and it works pretty well for the price. Launch has really stepped up their game in the diagnostic scanner arena. I have a few scan tools and one is a LAunch Pad 2 ($2000) and I really like it for day to day professional use. I also have a $8000 Snap On Verus Edge for scope use and outputting the video live to my 32" monitor for heavy diagnostics. My cheapest priced one is an Autel Al439 which 3 years ago when I bought it was almost $200 and it doesn't have ABS or SRS nor graphing capability so for $180 that tool is great.
