nice tahoe dude love those wheels what kinda tires are those
The tires are Dunlop Rover M/T 275/65R20.
They have been giving me some minor body rub turning in & out of parking spots unfortunately. I noticed yesterday that the rubbing had chipped/cracked the paint on the front valence where they were catching (nobody else notices it when I ask, but my eye seems to pick it out right away).
I removed the black air dam yesterday to get rid of some of the rub, and finally got up the nerve today to trim the valance a bit. It looks like the previous owner started trimming it, but never finished the job...or had slightly smaller tires when he did it since the tires looked brand new when I bought it (still had the "nubbins" on them an no tread wear).
Just took my time with a dremel cutting wheel and the rubbing is gone and the trim is barely noticeable. Now I have to do a minor touch up job on the chipped/cracked paint & decide if I want to trim/re-install the black air dam or just leave it off. It seems that is another thing that nobody notices is off but me.
Was nervous about taking a dremel to the Tahoe I have only owned 2 weeks, but convinced myself when I realized I could get a replacement valance on-line for about $350 if I messed up...That is a hell of a lot cheaper than a new set of slightly smaller tires.
