I have the CCM leveling kit on my Suburban LTZ. With the exception of the rear where I had to go to a 1.5" spacer to get it level (still sits about an inch low in rear). Since I installed it my compressor very rarely ever kicks on. I was wondering if it made since to lengthen the links for the auto level sensors. Say I installed a 1.5" spacer, If I increased the linkage another 1.5" would that let it sit in the same range as it does in the factory or am I way off and that only works in theory.

Also does anyone have pictures of there sensor links. Are they straight or do they have a bend to them. When I purchased my suburban it had a lowering kit on it, when I removed it and went back to factory I noticed the links had a bend in them, I assumed it was from the person lowering it to keep compressor from coming on but now Im not sure they are straight or bent from the factory.

Thanks for all your help.

Straight from the factory. To make the links longer, the ends pull off be carefull not to break them as they are plastic, then go to your local hardware store and buy some all-thread/threaded rod that is just a little larger in diameter than the hole in the plastic end link which you pulled off prior. I would start by increasing them by 1/2" to 3/4". You can then push the factory ends onto the new links and re-install, then test, you may have to make longer ones or trim the ones you made. Overall its inexpensive and pretty easy to do.
I would start by straightening your factory links, it might be all you need.

I did straighten the factory ones but and they seemed to still be good with the 1" spacers then when I went to the 1.5" the compressor hasnt kicked on at all.

Thanks was hoping that would work.

Just got back from lowes and did the all thread ones. Worked perfect, leveled it out nicely ended up making them about 3/4" longer. Think I ended up at 3 and 3/4"
