I have a dealership with my exact vehicle that I ordered in stock, aside from the black decals, these are chrome. They want to charge me $5k over MSRP.

I’m getting the GMS discount on the one sitting in Midlothian. Do I buy this and then then sell it when mine comes in? Do you think I’d take a hit?

At already $5k over I don’t think you’ll make a profit, probably take a hit or a wash. Unless it’s a Denali with 6.2 which might be hard to come by if you just read the Silverado/Sierra news

Comes down to do you NEED it right now? or just want it and can live with your current vehicle until they release yours from the holding lot.

I do need it, yes. Or I’ll have to rent something for next weekend when we have a road trip. That would cost me about $1,200…

I’m not saying I want to make anything on it, I just don’t want to lose money.

I did see the news AND my salesman told me last week that they are going to be stopping the 6.2 for a while. Even on Yukons and Tahoe’s.

It is a Denali with the 6.2.

Depends, subtract the $1,200 rental price...is $3,800 worth it to just be done with the headache of no ETA on your build? Have you tried negotiating down the ADM?

Well I’m getting my Midlothian at GMS which is $10k less than MSRP on this one. If I can turn around and sell it, I will. I am not trying to make money I just want to break even. That’s where my worry comes in.

I have no faith that I’ll see my Midlothian truck in the next two months. Now that I’m hearing more May vehicles have been sent there…and there’s a guy who’s been waiting since February!

Agreed. Too much uncertainty these days. Do it. Especially since it has the L87.
