Was yours AWD? I specifically wanted RWD in this SUV for economy. I think it helps a bit. (I have a jeep on 35s for the one day it snows per year)

Today I was on the Peak to Peak trail in the Rockies. I was going up and down the mountain in towing mode. MPG dropped down to 20.4. I was expecting 10 or 11.

The truck did great in the mountains. The power is fun.

Yeah, mine is AWD. After living in a snow area I don't think I'll ever buy anything again that isn't AWD. I also have an AWD Audi A6 with a V8 and I love that vehicle not only in the snow but even in the rain I can feel a big difference between a FWD or RWD car, especially when I hit standing water.

I just checked my average economy on my 08 with 22's factory, it's only at 8 mpg. Is this considered normal?

I'm not sure. Mine is only 2wd. My mileage was also 65-75 highway with 91 octane.

have you ever reset it? because if you havent thats probably the average of numerous different speeds and rpms over a long period of time.

I'll bet during the winter you turn your car on and let it idle to warm up/defrost? That is calculated as fuel burned and zero mileage travelled. That adds up.

My front cigarette lighter and heated/cooled seats aren't working.

Fuse number 53 fixed the cigarette lighter.

Scraping and cleaning this did not fix the seats. I can still here a click when I try to use them though.

You'll need a new connector and a new pin to repair from gmc dealership. I have the same issue. That connector is melted beyond repair. You'll need to pull out all the pins that are still in good shape and repair the one that's burnt.
Very common with heated cooled seats.
