Take a peek at these.
While not stainless, neither is the rest of your exhaust. YET
But, this will save you some cash for future upgrade, when and if you get bit by the power bug, last links.
Theses two should be able to be bought and installed for well under 200$.
Flow master merge, Make sure pipe diameter is correct.
****** max flow, muffler. its a straight through design, has a quit rumble idle, good ruble at cruise and roars at WOT.
But considering you have cats, even high flows. it should tame this muffler nicely.
These two should also come really close to matching your OEM muffler length, allowing use of your "over axle" pipe.
With little to no pipe extensions. aka less welding and cheaper install price.
Now onto the meat and potatoes.
Headers, get these without the Y pipe as its not needed with the exhaust linked below.
Header back exhaust, currently in prototype stage. Page 4 shows installed pics.
Both of those setups are priced very well.
You will however want to coat and wrap the headers as they transfer Alot of valve noise. this really annoys me. but alot of people I know like it. I'm just very picky when it comes to any noises/rattles my vehicles make.
When that header back exhaust ships, I will be selling my current 1 3/4" headers in favor of the new 1 7/8" with collector spikes.
I will coat and wrap the entire system from flange to tips, in effort to keep the exhaust gasses as hot as possible, improving scavenging and reducing that pingy sound thin stainless makes.
GL, on your choice.
A Decibel sheet for easy comparison between mufflers for ya.
