Now I hear I should have bought a Magnaflow or something instead of a Flowmaster which is a chambered muffler. Live and learn. Still, it sounds great but might actually not be the best for power. Weird, Some people swear by the Flowmaster Super 44. IDK.

There`s nothing wrong with flowmaster many people have the misconception that you lose massive amounts of horsepower vs a straight through design like magnaflow. In reality there is only a few horsepower difference between the two.

I think magnaflow, corsa etc are good products but i just prefer flowmaster. Those few horses don`t make a damn bit of a difference so if you`re happy with the sound don`t second guess it.

Sound is a personal thing. Some people prefer the Flowmaster and others like the tone of the Magnaflow. About the hp gain, it's negligible.

Thanks for the input, guys. I'm real happy with my decision. It sounds great and that's what I was looking for. Truck feels strong too.
