The seamless ones are not really functional. If you need them to work and not for looks get the weathertechs.

Location
Redneck central, Aka Houston
looking for noise levels.
The autozone specials I use are as loud as a hurricane.
Was hoping maybe that the weather tech or seamless wouldn't be as loud.

In the rain they can only go down like half a inch or you will get water. They create a wind tunnel type noise at that level at highway speed

Seamless ones I mean.

I just put the factory GM ones on and though they stick out a little more they look OK.. i really wanted the in channel ones. A local aftermarket shop advised against it for where we live. It gets 30 and 40 below with 5+ feet of snow all winter. He said the in channel ones get ice build up and you can't roll down the windows. they have had so many complaints about this they only sell the ugly ones now :] Hears how the GM ones mine. 20140829_171721_zpsd484f4cd.jpg 20140829_171917_zps27ac9056.gif

hmm, how does the noise compare to the cheap stick on's?

Where are the weather tech guys.. please post up opinions..

Your right about the stick on ones. Mine is considerably noisier. I tried different window heights to find the sweet less noise spot with only way open almost normal. The reason I have determined this area as the cause is the way they loop back almost round at the back of the front windows top channel. I put my hand up there and it scoops the wind into the cab behind your head!! Im not sure Ill keep these on or not. i wish they made a more steam line stick on one. like I said before the in channels get ice build up according to our area accesories guy and freeze the window closed.
