Catch Can disappointment pics inside

I have thought about doing one, wouldn't this serve the exact same purpose? I know it's not all anodized and neat looking but you can see what it is catching or not catching.

I've heard of people using those. I don't think it looks bad at all and I like the idea of being able to see what's collected. If that works just as well or better, then I'd run one. I'd still use one of those fuel filters after the catch can like Ivan did for the extra filtration and to see what's passing the catch can.

Update
It's been appx 4000 miles since I installed the fuel filter and the results are in. The oil is still seeping up the hose to the intake manifold (see pics). The good thing is that the gas filter did its job, it kept the oil from going thru into the intake manifold. It's time to try a new oil catch can, I'm going to order the RacerX catchcan and see how that one does.

Several weeks ago I bought the racer x fabrication oil catchcan and this past weekend I installed it, I hope this catchcan does its job. I will post and update later on the year since my Yukon is not a daily driver, it will take several months to rack up some miles.

no I saw this thread pop back up again, I haven't ordered anything yet my engine is under warranty I don't know if doing something like this would void that or not they have never been dick's to me like that but ya never know.

Your PCM wouldn't like the huge vacuum leak it'd see!
