The shipping is $11 so I'm thinking to add spark plug wires and plugs. What else should I consider to spread the shipping out? I assume GM OE for wires. I used iridium of some brand for plugs. Been about 80k miles since I changed those.

Found a oil block off plate on Amazon.

The brake light switch showed up - I got a P1574 code so I'll install an OEM switch.

Parts cannon is getting a good workout. :)

Here is what appears to be solid info. on how to complete drive cycles for the different systems. The year of the Chevy isn't listed or I didn't see it.

Okay....here's an interesting development. I ordered a new brake switch (because I got a code P1574) and received GM PN 151285592 per RA. I noticed the switch was sort of the mirror image of what I took out. With some manipulation and installing the new switch upside-down I was able to get it in and connected. I went to drive the car and it would not come out of park. I put the original brake switch in and all was fine. See picture.
PN 15128592 will not work in my Tahoe it needs 25771554. I wonder if RA will give me my money back? See picture below.

This could have been my ordering error - failing to read. The 15128592 switch seems like it might be for Tahoes with power adjustable pedals.

Sort of makes sense - the 15128592 version of the switch mounts more out of the way probably because powered pedal parts need the room. That clip is not that easy to deal with. I think I'll see if the GM parts dept. here can get the correct one. Chalk that up to a mis-fire of the parts cannon.

If you are going to replace the OEM block off plate this ICT one, I want to purchase the OEM plate. I will send a USPS money order plus shipping . PM me with your mailing address.
Sure. Did you try one of the AL plates and it didn't work or do you need the OEM plate for some other reason? You don't have to mention the reason I'm curious because if I send you the OEM plate and then need it back etc etc.
