clunk noise... what the hell is it?? bagged z71

every time i pop it in reverse i hear a clunk noise coming aether from my tranny or rear diff.... some times when i go from Drive to Reverse.

my truck is bagged and i noticed it when i lowered it first with springs and now its there still...

friend says it normal on chevys.... another says my differential is about to go out...

does any one know what it is? and if its the diff whats the best lsd out there for these trucks?

yeah being that yours is bagged it will eat up u joints a lot faster because of the pinion angle is off all the time

ok thanks. i bought them today. guy at autozone said it needed 2. so i got the maintenance free, with lifetime warranty.

i have the same problem too and the u joints did it but my suspension still clunks in the rear when hitting speed bumps...this isn't normal i am almost sure and it feels terrible..anyone hear of that?

How low are you? Are you sure it's a clunk and not your axle hitting either your frame or exhaust? Have you done the "free travel mod"??
