Blackout ~ when you have a chance could you get me a center wheel to fender measurement please. Getting close to ordering the rest of my parts trying to decide what way to go. Stud or procomp adapter. Trying to wait out a fix for the stud top. Thanks man.

Digitfiend did you finish your prototypes? Any progress?

Hey 04blackout...I has something for you...how about some 0.25"x2.5" washers and 0.50"x2.25" polyurethane bushings:

I'll pm you with my paypal details and we'll get this show on the road.

For the rest of you, I'm cross-posting this to make sure those interested see it. I've been on a hiatus from posting on here because I've been going mad inside my lab trying to get these washers machined right. This 4340 steel is pretty darned tough. This is good once it's put into place, but it makes machining it and cutting it *very* difficult. I have a small lathe and basic tooling and it has ruined just about every HSS lathe tool that I've thrown at it. It tends to extremely HOT while it's being machined...once it heats up it ruins anything you throw at it until it cools down. I finally tried out some carbide cutting tips and that seemed to be the best. So now I believe I have a way to produce many of these on a small scale.

If 04blackout is ready to go then I'll get this first prototype set to him and have him test them. Once we work out any kinks then I'll produce more of these and they'll be for sale in my own thread like Atomic did with his mounts.

ok, sorry for the late response Billy, but from what i can see, my center hub to fender measurement is 17 3/8"

thats as close as i could dial it in, thats not exactly the easiest measurement to get

Thanks Craig, Im sitting at 16 3/4 on stock 17's (265/70/17) which is a 31.6 inch tall tire. Your 24's are 32.4 inch tall. So if i did my math right we are pretty similar. My 22 that run is a 285/45/22 which is 32.1. Just trying to dial how i want it to sit and can compare the parts.

Getting close to order the rest of my parts, been trying to wait out the stud top finding from digitalfiend. Thinking i should just plan to run the pro comp adapter.

How the setup treating you did you dial in your shock setting, stock shock tower holding up fine?

Thanks Billy

Everything is holding up fine, and the front end is great... im not really sold on the rear yet, and even thinking I may still go back up to stock height or lifted. Still glad I did the conversion though, bc if I do raise it up, I can just sell my lowering stuff and use longer coilovers up front
