It will fit in any 4l60e trans thats in the tahoe. You souldnt have to grind the pin unless you install the super fourth too. I put one in my 02 with no problems.

I have the super hold 4th and didn't need to grind my pin.

From what I have read it holds into overdrive 40% more eliminating the search back and fourth between 3rd and 4th causing extra heat..
Good for two things ,wide open throttle in overdrive racing and towing...
I personally think GM's that tow would benefit from the super 4th.Not sure non hauling daily drivers would benefit or not...
My plan is to do the vette servo with the sonnax 4th and waiting to hear if I'd benefit from the new pin or not?

Wait if holding the fourth gear longer as a DD wouldn't that hurt MPG?
