2015 Frontal Crash Test

2013 Frontal Crash Test

GTNator, I agree. Overlap tests on the suburban would be nice to see. A lot of full size trucks, particularly crew cabs do poorly in that test.

So technically my 2013 Escalade EXT being a crewcab will be less safe than my 2011 Yukon Denali ?

I just also seen the 2012 Suburban side crash test ( moving deformable barrier ) it's v scary the suburban rolled over from the impact! This is YouTube video link

Not really the point I was making. As I couldn’t find an overlap crash for a Suburban I don’t know if it is safer than a crew cab truck of the same platform. They may be similar actually.

The point I was getting at is that in the overlap crash, extended cabs usually do better than crew cabs.

So perhaps the suburban/tahoe would perform similarly to their crew cab truck counterpart?

Watch this video, specifically the Silverado tests. Crew cab performs worse than the extended cab.

Don't know. I would suspect the Escalade EXT/Avalance to perform closer to the Suburban/Yukon than Silverado. No overlap test videos are out there on youtube for the burb/hoe/kon/Esky...

But I did find this, which is essentially your Esky EXT.
