I did not use one. I contemplated it but was trying for a simplistic install with as few wires as possible. I did try and locate a remote turn-on in the fuse panel, but the panel is 100 percent power all the time, or at least I couldn't find an ignition/stereo timed turn on in it.Much thanks.
Where is your remote wire?
The ACM amp has a GTO signal sense built-in and detects if there is a signal to the amp and will turn on. I was a bit skeptical but have confirmed the amp shuts down when the truck is off and works perfectly. It appears to be a really well-built AMP.
