I've been conditioned my whole life to buy and drive a toyota. When this denali showed up, I couldn't pass up the opportunity..

I knew I needed to do a full changeout of most parts, and I have. the truck is solid and it's the biggest personal vehicle I've ever owned.

With that said, I still have thousands to spend to get it where i want it.. I've spent 5k, and sold the toyota for 7.

Intake tube, exhaust, cats, tune, window blackout, stereo, probably lt headers and cams in a few years, another tune, ya never know, I might fall in love with this truck and keep it... but I still need to drop 4 k to get it there and I consider it and win that I'm only spending a couple thousand out of pocket on a fully built up monster..i might even have it dynotuned in st louis for fun after its done... brraaaahp!!!!:rockit:

I have 4 buddies with 2010+ tundras with 200k+ one at 350k, they work the oil fields as pipefitters. They have welding rig bed setups and those trucks are tanks.

What's love got to do with it?

I can't say I LOVE my Tahoe. I really like it and I can't think of anything at the moment that better fits my needs and wants. If things changed drastically and permanently, I'd sell it for something that would fit that situation- something like falling behind on bills. I'd sell it and get a GMT800 to have a vehicle with similar capabilities but with no note. I wouldn't cry over it like I did my S10.

Now who's smoking crack? You guys seriously like the look of the NNBs over the NBS? I say no way- the NBS are the best-looking bodystyle. Except for the 2015-up but those have too many problems for me. I think when they went to the NNBS, especially the escalades and the Denali's, they made a huge mistake. They got rid of all the body cladding that made the Denali's look way different than the Yukons or Tahoes. And then there's the front ends on the NNBS Denali's. I don't like them at all, they look like a smiley face to me. Almost as bad a design as the cat-eye Silverado's or as I call them the Angry Bird Silverado's. Apologies if any of you drive one, I don't mean disrespect but I just don't like them. As far as loving my truck? Hell yeah I love my truck. It's bulletproof, looks badass, it's fast and I can fix pretty much anything that goes wrong with it. For a 15-year old vehicle, I get a lot of compliments and I fully expect to get another 10-15 years out of it. And it will still be faster and look better than 95% of the vehicles on the road.:sunot:

Bingo was his name-o.

Used to think the same way till I bought my 13.... kept saying i love my 01, looks better, drives better, more comfortable seats....etc... then i sold it and I actually love my 13, looks, comfort, drivability and over all fit finish and function .... and i dont have any tune yet. To each thier own but the nnbs eskies and denalis are good looking trucks also.... guess im smoking crack tho...

Took the denali thru the wash today, wiped it all down, and when I was getting gas, an older gentleman, maybe 60?, pulled up in the next bay in a murdered out jet black 03 z71 tahoe with blacked out windows and black xd wheels..

As he walks in to prepay, he says, "love your denali, love that red."

I said, "I like your mobbed out tahoe, love the direction you took it." He smiles and nods in approval

And that was it, he went inside and got gas , and that was that, we mutually recognized our nice rides and didn't need any more banter to clog a good moment.. stranger bonding :boti:
