Driver door courtesy light stays on all the time while all other lights go off properly. Ideas why? I did change the courtesy lights to LED

Upgraded all interior lights to LEDs. Started working fine but then the driver door courtesy started staying on longer and longer and now it never goes. Lock the car all the lights go off except driver door courtesy light. replaced door switch and door lock but courtesy light stills stays on all the time. Anyone have this issue? Fixes? Work arounds? I would like the door courtesy lights to match.

I have this same problem on my drivers door courtesy light, and no LEDs are being use. Did you figure out what the problem was?

I replaced all of my incandescent lights, inside and outside, and I do not have this issue. It could be related to a defective LED, as @Fless indicated above, so give that a try to either confirm or rule it out as the source of your issue.

Have you by any chance replaced the Driver Door Switch prior to this happening?

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado and the driver/left door courtesy light is remaining on all the time as well. I did not notice this when the old OEM incandescent bulbs were in it but I cannot remember if it had burned out either. I ordered some new LED NDRUSH lights from Amazon and installed them today. I was amazed at how bright they were and was very happy, but noticed the driver door light I had just installed was staying on while I was driving down the road. There was no door ajar message on dash and the overhead map lights and dome lights were off too. I rolled the dimmer switch up to turn on dome lights and they came on and rolled it back down to turn them off and they went off and remained off but door light remained on. Came home, installed new NDRUSH LED light into passenger door, I tested it by locking doors with keyfob and after the dome lights dimmed and went out the passenger door light went off like it should, but driver door light remained on. These are just 2-wire plastic housing lights, so it's just a dumb little light that gets 12v + and - ground, but where is it's source of power? I got to thinking Celu0 mentioned about the Driver Door Switch and was wondering that since the door switch seems to be working properly from the standpoint of telling ECM that door is open/closed, but the switch could be malfunctioning and sending 12 volts to the light all the time, meaning that the switch electrical components is not just an open/close type switch but I don't know. Just wanting to check and see if anyone has had this issue like original poster and found the issue/fix.

I have an 06 Z71. I just replaced the driver's side window switch module and started having the issue with the driver's side courtesy light staying on all the time. I currently have the light bulb removed until I have time to troubleshoot.
