that truck is essentially my inspiration lol

im going for kinda that, but clean like an escalade, with a cateye front end

*I* wish escalade style prerunner bulge glass existed lol

almost like oldschool box flares like those pandum BMWs

Haha me too. But I actually like the look of Tahoe front end. And thankfully for the FiberWerx has some nice fenders.
It would be nice to see some Caddy fenders
Yes, that would be nice. And more than likely what I would like to do some time down the road. All metal boxed fenders out back I think would look great.

is there a desert racing sub here?

I know Im not the only ******* who wants to be BJ Baldwin in their Tahoe lol

because *Loki* is what led me to JD Fab's Bajoe build

I'm glad I'm not the only one who daydreams about having 20" of travel up front and 30" out back flying through Baja Mexico with my family on vacation :)

This is another one. He used to have info out there but it's all on Pinterest now. It's a pretty insane build with a wild rear set up.

Excellent info
Looks like the easiest, nearly-bolt-on way would be to get them 'glass fenders and convert to a Silverado face. Otherwise, do lots of body work: (A) Get the fenders, cut off the flares and mold them to the Tahoe fenders or (B) slice the stock Tahoe fenders to flare them and weld in filler strips.
Almost went this route because the fenders are part of safety system on GMT900....that info has removed any ideas Ive had about goin fiber...
Just ordered fender roller.....Hoping to be able to force some stretch w/some heat??
Pretty old, but fiberwerx now makes a tahoe/ suburban front fender and there are several long travel kits out there.
I was hoping someone shared this info with OP
I believe Baja kits makes a mid travel kit that widens the front 3” or so. Fiberwerx makes some nice stuff for flared fenders but I think you might need to retro fit them.
Think they Mid-Travel is only 1.5-2"?? From my best recall: everything 3" + is considered Long Travel??
Little update on the rig! Got my FOX 2.5 coilovers and fox 2.5 rear shocks wheels tires bumper built.
SO HOW DID THIS END UP???

I'm currently in process of DIY my own Long Travel LCA's... WIll make thread soon!

You need to start a thread asap :)

I have like 3, maybe just 2 threads that are incomplete right now lol.. Personally I think they come out cleaner when the whole thing goes up at once?? BUT.....you miss all the figuring stuff out and the nay-sayers etc.. lol... I'm getting closer! Planning for fenders so Im about there!

Still need rear shocks, front CV Axles, and tie rod extensions and sleeves......and tires. Besides those Items Ive got all my parts

edit: (hopefully just) fender flares, limit straps, and maybe 1-3" lift knuckles??
