Flowmaster or Magnaflow

Whats the best muffler to use on a limited budget? I am going to use the stock exhaust until I can get some ****** long tubes and got the cats covered so its just the muffler then redo the tailpipe.

use flowmaster. save magnaflow for the cats.

Just what Sun said...I took his advice...went with the Magnaflow high flow cats and a Flowmaster 50 series SUV muffler out to 3" tail pipe and 3.5" tip...and it sounds great!

I run a Magnaflow Magnapack on mine and love the sound have had Flows on previous Mustang's I have had they sound nice don't get me wrong but everyone has them I wanted something unique and loud, got 3" piping from the cat back and have a 4" tip its loud and mean

I figure both have great airflow so the main issue comes down to cost and sound really correct?

Magnaflow over Flowmaster. I HATE the flowmasters on my 6.0. And I hated the one on my 2 door. I can't wait to get my XR-1's for my truck to replace the flowcrappers

I've HEARD both on my truck, the MagnaFlow sounded better, but I went with Flowmaster due to the name recognition and the fact that I know they last.
