Soph its killing me I want mine in. How long did it take you? Can I use my LED reverse bulb I have in my stock ones? Do your blinkers flash normally not fast like some of these lights? Last question how hard is it to unplug the factory and plug in the G4's under the rear? That's the only thing stopping me because of back surgery. Could my wife do it easily, if I trust her to touch it!!
Thanks sorry for all the questions I just want mine in!! They look good

Yes, your wife can do it, but she may not want to if 1) the truck is dirty underneath (dirt could fall on her), 2) the truck's been driven recently and the muffler's hot, and/or 3) she could break a nail undoing the harness.

It really is easy. Very easy. Just don't know if your wife would be up for it. But it's very easy.

Actually removing the factory lights can be tough if they're in there tightly. Also probably not good for a bad back, and might be something your wife can't handle.

Get better soon, and have a friend do this for you in the meantime!

Exactly what KMeloney said. Once she finds the harness, which is really easy to spot, it comes unplugged easily. I even did mine at night and used my iPhone as a flashlight to locate it! Very easy. It took me about 5-7 minutes.

But, on the G4's, there are round plastic covers on the 2 "prongs" that hold the light onto the vehicle. You'll need someone else to pull them off as I had to pull very hard to get them off.

I'm pretty sure you can use the factory reverse light. In fact I'll go do that now. :)

I might take more pictures today, but I kinda wanna wait until I get my truck washed. It's NASTY after being driven on snow and ice...but then again I like the look. Haha. So I will try and get some when it's clean so you can see the truck better.

Thanks Soph, What is the best way to get those black ends off? Also do you blinkers blink normal and blink when your mirror blinkers blink, I saw other people say that there's did not but maybe they fixed it in the G4's. It's killing me not having mine in, maybe I will ask my neighbor if he can unplug the harness under the rear. They look really bright, do all the lights blink with the turn signal on? Sorry 4 all the questions it's killing me to look at them in the box everyday!! I wonder how much a shop would charge since it is a really simple install and I would do if not for back surgery. I'm not going to pay them much but maybe worth a try just to see how much. $40 at the most but who knows with some shops
Thanks again

Ask as many questions as you need! They have the problem of not blinking right on time with the mirrors, but mine work fine after I press the brakes a few times, once I turn the signal on. So they're fine to me, but every set is different!

All the lights blink when the turn signal is on. Oh, and the stock reverse bulbs do fit, I did that earlier.

Just have someone you know, with a few seconds of free time, to unplug the harness. It takes no time at all and it's easy to spot as long as they get under the bumper, directly under the tail light.

Okay, so while in town I washed the Hoe and took pics when I had to run by a store.

Also took some when I got home. :D
