G5 Tails on

Yes the G4s match up to the curvier lines of the stock Tahoe/Yukon appliqués.

The G5s, being as they are exact escalade tail clones, need the escalade appliqués to match body lines, and yes they are more angular.

Soulsea, your the freaking man, that was quick response time and with pictures. Man i never realized the angular look of the esky appliques was so drastic. I personally do not care for that look at all. The G4's are the way to go for me. Wish i lived on the east coast so the fellow Tri-coaters could meet on your trip. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Yeah the more angular rear end of the esky seems to be more pronounced on wdt paint than darker colors where it seems to blend in a little better ... that's why I ultimately went the G4 route.

I'm not sure to tell you the truth ... I know that the side row of leds lights up as parking lights on my Anzos, but I can't remember if my Eagle Eyes did that of if the side leds were decorative mock leds.

We don't even know for sure that the EE and the Anzo aren't made at the same factory and just rebranded as EE or Anzo.

It may just be that I paid double for exactly the same lamps and I am falsely deducing that the Anzos are better because I got a set that works.

Btw, like I said earlier Anzo doesn't make G5s (thread subject) so if that's the look one wants I think the only choices are Eagle Eyes or oem with custom harness.
