Is this mod worthwhile on an 07 Yukon XL Denali with a 6.2L ???

Most definitely.

I also had Justin turn my AFM off when he did my in person tune and I don't get nearly as much out of my catch can during oil changes as I did before. Good indication that the AFM has a lot to do with oil consumption.

Cool, just wondering cause I am trying to gauge my next oil change and how much oil would be in my can. This one coming up will be my first change with the AFM deleted.... hoping for good results!

I Just used the stock fittings. Shouldn't be that hard that you would break fittings

You didnt twist the fitting did you? It should twist off if i recall correctly.

Or you could just snip the plastic pipe in two, swivel the ends around and slide your 3/8" hose on and clamp them. If you decide to remove the catch can system, a simple 2" piece of hose will make a splice joint to put the stock pipe back together.

I'm running two in series right now (just because I can) and either of these locations are good. Some folks run them on various places on the engine, but outboard is better for oil collection in a cooler place. But that's just me.

Just ordered up my Catch Can today. I didn't see anything on ship times. I'm guessing it is shipping ground. How long did you guys wait to get it in? I'm hoping to have mine installed before I go on Vacation next Thursday.
