its 2.99 here at some places.. bring it on gas prices.
95 tahoe-30gallon tank 93octane
90 454ss-27gallon tank 93 octane
01 Trans am- 17gallon tank 93 octane
86 capri- 16gallon, 87octane.
01 + 03 grand prix 17 gallon tank 87 octane...

**** gas prices and the government.. id be driving all these to the ground before i ever give up on gas prices or buy a POS import or hybrid

I find that totally shameful. But to help ease your conscious, I will gladly take that 454 SS off your hands just so that you can sleep better and feel green about it...

Back on topic, I like the lifted look (hence, why it was one of the first things I did). I picked up carpet for the 'hoe, and (hopefully) will install it and a roll of fatmat once spring hits. Just picture your dream truck, make a list of what you want to do to it, then prioritize what you want to do. It all takes money so unless you've got a big budget for it and/or are really good mechanically, it'll take some time. You can always push the lift/tire upgrade for last, and do the interior mods first.

if your going to lift it i would still recommend getting the 6" lift and not cranking the front and leaving the blocks out of the rear. then when you want it higher (and it seems 99% of ones that go with the 3-4 lift wish they went with the 6) you can crank the T-bars and add the rear blocks and u-bolts.

6" RCX lift can be had for about a grand procomp and DC lifts run a little more. they are the most popular lifts of users on this forum from what i have seen.

i have the 6" procomp lift on mine with 35's.

i work at a local pizza shop about 20 hours a week... i bring about 250 home every 2 weeks. im in college and school is a big priority so i just try and save my money. then i go drop it on something that i really want and that i have researched and everything. I want a lift... i do want a 6 inch lift and just leave uncranked and everything. if i leave it uncranked in the front it will be at 4" and i put the AAL in the back it will raise it up 4" also? correct me if im wrong. im just a new guy with this stuff. im more advanced in the engine side of things. the motor in the drag car in my albums was built by me and its rebuilt after every race session in about 2 hours... im pretty much "dumb" when it comes to suspension tires and gears... thats why i have you guys! haha
