Did this mod today, tested reception. Definitely WORSE, and I'm on the outskirts of NYC where these stations broadcast from. Granted, the only time that I listen to FM in the 'hoe is when the mrs asks me to put it on....but if da mrs ain't happy, then nobody's happy.

Guess it's time to research a stubby antenna...

I'd say yes, I believe they are all the same interchangeable piece. I know on GMFS a couple guys have done it to their GMCs and Chevys.

She's got one in the Jeep, and I have one in the 'hoe (along with Sirius). She still insists on listening to the FM radio because they play the same songs she likes over and over again.

My antenna is ****** in there. I was gonna try this with my onstar antenna and if it worked, buy another one. I tried takin it out with plyers and it scraped the shit out of it.
