I'd personally run a separate amp for the 12's and another for the 8's so you can cross them over at different frequencies.

i agree.. but we kinda have the amp.. so its gonna come down to running 12s that can handle 2000 and change and still fit in theme.

my other option would be to go with w6s and a separate amp for the 8s...

Change in plans...everything is the same, except now I'm running two 15s. Rockford Fosgate T2s.

I just ran across some receipts and saw your thread. I'm running close to the same setup for the highs only I'm running 6.5"165a 2 ways s in the fronts and 6.5"165ca in the rear with a Jl300/4. I swear the CAs sound better, but overall the clarity is on point. My 12 w7 doesn't drown them out. they still scream. its been 4 years since I did the install so its good to see these speakers are still worthy.

don't ever add up the receipts lol! good luck with the build.
