I cant get anyone in my area (San Francisco, Ca) to replace my shocks and struts for all 4 wheel only GM will do it for the cost of my first child. My car bounces like crazy now. Any ideas on converting to a airbag system or options to fix my issue?

You must not be looking very hard. Standard shocks for these are extremely cheap. You could probably do all 4 for $200 plus install. If that's the cost of a first child, id have like 9 kids with no worries.

I used ac delco on my fronts for $130 at rock auto and $50 for some gabriels on back. Doesnt get much cheaper and easier than that. Get fancier ones if you want to spend more.

Save even more by doing it yourself. Rears are beyond easy. Fronts, youll need a spring compressor. If youre not comfortable doing that, just take it to a shop and theyll swap them out in about 30 minutes.

My garage is converted to living space so I have to us the street to do most things and its weird my normal mechanic wouldn't do it.

I would think almost any auto service shop could handle the job, rears are really as simple as any other vehicle, and the fronts are just coilovers. All they need is truck spring compressor. Shouldn't be a problem.

Thats what I thought I even brought it to sears and they quoted me at 200 parts and all until they saw the coil covers. then they said they cant do it.
