Well, I started out with an '02 Tahoe that was long paid off(it was my moms old car and had been in the family since new)I kept that for about 7 months then i sold it for $10,500 which i put down on my 07 Yukon(which is an ex rental car that i got a hell of a deal on)so my monthly payments aren't very high. The Silverado was Bought for me by my parents. They paid cash and i do not have any payment to worry about on it, just insurance and gas.

My dad bought mine and I am paying him off like a bank. He just wanted the intrest lol. And my rate through my dad is miniscule compared to what I could get anywhere else.

Yep, when my buddies give me a hard time about having cars that are several years old now with some miles on them, i remind them that they are all paying out the ass every month for their brand new cars. And most of them have ****** credit and are paying 15%+ interest rates on brand new cars. I have always made fun of them for wasting thousands and thousands of dollars over the life of a loan on interest.
