Yeah but your two cars that are a few years old are two good cars to have. I am glad that noone got offended by my post as it was not my intention to do so. Sounds like I just need to learn to pay a car off so I can start my own collection. I have a little disease called cantkeepacarlongenoughitis and I tend to sell after a year and a half, because I see something new I "just have to have". Good thing is I never get into any negative equity, bad thing is I can't pay a car off.

Why would they give you a hard time your truck is not exactly "old".

You have to know my friends...Lots of guys who grew up extremely spoiled. And now that they are all done with school they think $50,000 a year is a ton of money and are going out and buying 2009 Lexus GS430s and Mercedes E550s, etc.

Once they grow up enough and realize that a $1000/month car payment is insane, and realize they cant afford to buy a house because of their damn car, they will learn.

I blew my load over the last few years. Driving paid off cars for a long time helped to save the money. Got the Yukon, Lexus, Landcruiser and SeaRay all in the last few years. I have a new business starting so major purchases are over. In about four years, I'll be moving down the forum boards. :hands:

My advice, leave the retirement and home alone. Cars are not important enough to work until 65 and risk foreclosing on a home...
