Cars have always been my life, or better yet IS my life. Every since my dad taking me street racing i been hooked.

I've had a job ever since i was 17-19 working on cars just to support my addiction on working on mine. Still living with parents. I had 3 cars at that time...one was the second fastest car in H.S. Next to a rich boy with a brand new WS6 trans am with nitrous and lots of other goodies.

So at 20 i decided to buy a 2 story house (yes i know i tried to convince her she's not going to like it after a year) with my newly wife that i dated since H.S.

19-25 my current age...i have worked for a chevy dealership. On the service side because again...i work on other ppl cars to only support my addiction on working on mine...but i now have 2 sons, a wife, a 200k home :emotions122:, 4 cars (Chevy Tahoe, Chevy LTZ Malibu, SS S-10, Cobalt SS) soon to be three because I'm selling the Cobalt.

My and my wife bring home good money, it's the only reason why we are where we are. Plus I'm not a dumbass, i don't go around getting shit i can't pay for. Like more retards that are in debt for ridiculous things.

So yeah, i got a Tahoe...only because my wife wanted a car that the kids can fit when we drive around or go on trips....yet the only trips we have done with it is to the casino's in Louisiana... :emotions122:

My parents worked hard and ran a lot of businesses. Most of theirs involved cars, so they dealt with the dealerships all the time, therefore we're able to get better prices on our cars. I don't own 20 high-class cars like some kids, I love my one and only Tahoe just fine. Actually, I even have a 2002 Tahoe I love to drive sometimes. Reminds me of the old days. :]

I'm also getting a job this summer to help pay my parents back for my car, completely voluntary.

my parents also worked their asses off their whole lives to provide our family with a comfortable lifestyle. I am not one of those spoiled rich kids who gets every single thing they want and i am grateful that my parents raised me that way. I got into a good college and they rewarded me with this tahoe. They do take care of me and i am so grateful that they raised me right and with a work ethic because now that i am 18 i am seeing a glimpse of the real world and the trouble i can get myself into(debt, girls, etc.) if i am not careful.
On a side note: anyone from the dallas fort worth highland park area?
I live in cali right now but will be going to school at SMU in dallas and i move in July 5th.

^^ same here. i don't get whatever i ask for, and i had to work like you wouldn't believe last summer to earn my tahoe. not to mention, had to keep my grades all the way up.
and i still feel spoiled for having it, so like i said, i'm going to use my work money to pay my parents back for my tahoe a little. they don't know yet, it's a surprise. :)

Here is my speel...
I'm 28 even though most people think I look about 18.

I could go on and on with my story to put me where I am right now, but I will summarize it.

1. Good work ethic, been working since 16.
2. Good saving habits. (able to give big downpayments)
3. Educate your self at something you like and pays good.
4. Currently good job that pays well and offers tons of OT, so then it pays even better :happy160:
