If you didnt have a Yukon/Suburban/Escalade, what would be your next choice?

Whatever my baby idolized, this is her vehicle and she has thought of a Yukon as an object of her desire for at least 15 years. Now that we've got 3 kids and her salary came up to the right point, she had a good excuse to order one.

If I had to choose I'm going to throw a dark horse choice out there. Nissan Armada - 5.6 V8, no turbos and no cylinder deactivation. ;)

Probably would have ordered a Cyber truck or a new Hummer pickup truck if my AT4 Yukon wasn't available back then. But honestly, I have no regret. I love my Yukon.

I am with you on the Nissan Armada. We had a 2018 platinum with 69k trouble free miles before we got our yukon xl in August of 2023. So much bang for your buck with the armada and the new 2025 Infiniti QX80 is looking amazing.

We needed a truck with more cargo room with the 3rd seat up after having our 3rd child and there aren't many choices when you get into the XL suvs. We love our Yukon XL and it's been great thus far but I would be in an Armada if they had an xl version or I didn't have a 3rd child.

I would look seriously at the Wagoneer. We had a 2021 Grand Cherokee L. Liked it very much but it was just too small. I did drive a Wagoneer before buying the Yukon, so that should tell you something. Our son is driving our old 2007 Sequoia. What a great vehicle!

I would never own an Mopar product. They are holding down the hot rod department but our light duty side is always replacing cams and lifters in the chargers.

The Ford products are ok until they break. Unless you have put timing chains, actuators, timing sprockets, etc in one of those it may change your mind if you work on your owns stuff. My wife likes the Expeditions but I told her I'm not working on it. I see too many problems with the TT V6 and we keeps vehicles a long time. Ford's QA has gone down hill in the last few years. Almost every one of our fleet vehicles have had problems when delivered or not long after.

We both like the Sequoia but I know nothing about the Powertrains. We saw a Sandstone and it was decked out. Zero room behind the 3rd row.

A coworker use to work at Nissan and even he said he would rather have a Toyota lol.

I know I sound a little bias but I look down the road when purchasing something. We have 5 vehicles and only one is not a chevy.

^^Nalied it. We have 4 kids ranging from 11 months to 9yrs old. My wife and I both drive Escalade ESV’s due to our work schedule either one of us need to be able to transport our kids.

We will be staying in the ESV/XL SUV platform for quite some time.

Wife has a 2024 Yukon XL SLT diesel. Next up would be the Expedition Max.

The Cargo of the new Sequoia is worse than a cross-over SUV so that’s ruled out.

Already have a F150 so no need for another truck in the driveway.

I really wanted to get the Hummer 3V. It’s just so freaking wide and I am in hospital parking garage’s all the time and it would have been a nightmare trying to park it.
