Ive got another thread going as well but i noticed that my jounce stops are not touching my lca's. After research done on here, ive found that they are supposed to touch. I am lifted 2-3 inches so are they still supposed to touch? Of so, how do I get them to touch? Thanks in advance

I think I might have a similar issue. My 03 handled crappy and it wallowed on the highway. I thought it was the shocks, I don't think it was, as all 4 shocks still compressed really well. Handles a little better. I noticed one of the bump stops(jounce) is split. How's the condition of yours? I ordered some aftermarket beltechs. Hopefully that'll solve my issue. Think yours are in a similar crappy condition, to where you didn't notice it right away? Screenshot_20161231-174135.png

Yea mine are not that bad. Just look dry rotted. But yes my tahoe rides scrappy. Vibrates like hell at 60 and up. But like yours mine are NOT touching my lower control arms. Are they supposed to be?

I don't think they're supposed to be right on them, touching. But honestly I'm not too sure. Do you think if you have shaking above 60 MPH it could be wheels or driveshaft out of balance? I don't think the shaking while driving has anything to do with the bumpstops. Try getting the tires balanced, could be off. Feel the shaking in your steering wheel?

Shaking is most likely tires. Yes they should be close to lower arm. Most people put 1/2" box under them and get new stops. That helps the front end while braking or any load under the front end.

Steering wheel, seat, back seat everywhere. Its done it with a fresh wheel balance and alignment. But I've been told a tire is out of round. Getting new tires soon and replacing some parts so I'll know soon if that fixes it or not. If you don't mind check out my other post suspension parts

Jounce stops must be touching, the torsion bars use them as a fulcrum. @Tonyrodz if yours aren't touching then the new ones aren't going to solve your problem. Are you lifted?
