I'm def gonna look later this week. If I remember correctly, front jounces don't sit flat on the lca's, I can see space, but less then a finger tips width.

Weird, yours don't look like mine. Are those DJM lower control arms? here's mine. I am lowered on 2" drop spindles and when I put new ones in, they actually raised my truck up about 1/2" since they weren't squished like the old ones so I cut some off. Here's a picture. As you can see, they are in constant use. My truck rides and handles great BTW. From what I understand, they are supposed to be touching like mine.@Tonyrodz

Here's a look at mine. Is this what you guys are talking about in terms of spacing and orientation?

I looked at my own the other day when I was underneath it, and on stock suspension mine sit almost an inch away from the LCAs, and mine rides great.Mine might be slightly different because it's 4wd with autoride. But I need to take some pics for reference anyway. I'll try and get some today.
Does the Norcal kit come with drop spindles or not? I'm not familiar with the DJM control arms. I'm lowered 2" in front with the drop spindles so the actual suspension geometry is supposed to be stock. Keys are stock and haven't been lowered or raised. I'm lowered 3" in the rear with Belltech springs and shock extenders and Autoride is still functional, at least as far as load levelling. Magnetic damping is disabled. I'm running Arnott shocks all the way around. Edit: mine is a Denali with AWD.As a note, mine is 2WD non- Autoride. Lowered with NorcalSS 3-5/6 kit. DJM LCAs up front and springs rear, no spacer. Front keys turned down a bit. No other front suspension component has been changed out from OEM parts.
Mine were cone-shaped on the bottom too until I cut the lower part off the new ones. There was a good amount of weight on the old ones also.Mine look different also. Mine is a smaller type cone shape on the bottom that is touching. I believe I need to raise it some because it seems to be a good amount of force on them. I'm it sure if it's supposed to be touching or not. I keep hearing different things.
Mines a stock height yukon xl with AWD.
