Before you click reply and say that underglo is gay.. just know that I agree with you... or at least I did.

Now.. a buddy of mine has a badass blue LED underglo kit that he said he'd give me for the Yukon. He says it's going to look sick.. and I can almost agree.

Now.. I'd only have them on when I remote start the car at nighttime (wire them to my interior neons that automatically turn off once I put the car in drive.

I think it might add a lot of curb appeal..

Maybe put a couple small blue LED tubes behind my grille.. mmmm

I used to have a Mustang so I think that neon's are rice. But now I have a Yukon and think this might be a good idea.. especially when I'm getting a really nice kit for free.

It was a definetely a good move for the interior..

Comments? Concerns?

Also, anyone already have underglo or know where to find a couple pics of a tahoe or yukon lit up?

Thanks guys.

rice lol. no I'm just old school. I have streetglow neon on my Tahoe and behing the grille. I used to have them under the dash and under the seat but, removed and have not put back. I just have a switch to flip them on or off as I please.
I will tell you what I actually get a lot of compliments from people when they see it. Every now and then someone will make a face and shake their head. I don't give a **** its my Tahoe, my money, my style. If I can stand out from the Tahoe or Yukon next to me I'm good.

Bro that looks amazing.. very nice flood (unless the camera is being nice) I believe mine with the blue flood underneath will be perfect... and like you said.. in the end it's my truck.. my ideas.. my enjoyment.

Thanks for the pics bro.. got me excited to install this kit =D

Still would like some additional opinions.

Looking at it... I think I just want the sides lit up.. maybe put the ones for the front and rear on the sides as well.. just further inward. I don't think i want blue light coming from under the bumpers.. just flooding out the sides.

I had a white set of neons (actually 2 sets at once) under my white tahoe and loved them. I've wanted them since I was probably 6 years old and finally did it (rice or not, I didn't care). A few broken tubes later....I ordered 2 sets of leds that I can change 7 different colors and several patterns (flashing, chasing and so on). I haven't had time to install them yet but I zip tied them up one night and they're hands down better than the neons. I would like to tie them in to the courtesy light function when you unlock the truck (puddle lights under the mirrors and back up lights) but might just simplify it and just have a switch. Oh, my lights were (and will be) from wheel to wheel on the sides, hence using two kits. A little tube on a long stretch looks a little off in my opinion.

Wow, that's a long post...and I use a lot of (parentheses)!!

I had it on my old 01 tahoe. Tahoe was white and the underneath LEDs were white. Won't get it on the Escalade. It was cool, but then I think it got played out really fast because of people going overboard with it. If it's done right (and within moderation) on certain vehicles its still ok

That's what i'm going for... I think it will get the message across.. yet still remain subtle if I just shoot it out the sides.
