I have let all my vehicles warm up. At least enough for it to idle down and cycle some oil through it.
I know when installed my e-fans in my previous truck it idled down in less than 2 minutes. I need to install some in my Hoe.

You don't have to let it sit and idle for 10 min, But it doesn't hurt to let it sit for a few min to make sure everything is flowing and starting to get warmed up , Different metals expand and contract, at different rates, ones everything gets even temps then its good to go.
