That's actually not bad, what year Denali or ford could I find this on?

The ford one is aftermarket.

00-06 denali have it stock. I think the 07+ have a version of that too. Or you could simply go to a metal shop and they have perforated metal sheets you can buy in different sizes. Google "perforated metal sheet" even amazon and ebay have it. Just measure what size you would need. Like 24"x48"

Ok thanks! I'll have to put that on my list of parts to get when I go to the junk yard.

Window screen.... I used it behind the billet grill on my Yukon. Works great and doesn't block airflow! Only issue I have found is you have to spray a couple bugs out after a long road trip

I wouldn't put anything behind the grill. You have a radiator, maybe a trans cooler, or oil cooler and ac condenser that all need air flow. That being said painting all of it is a decent idea but not too thick or you will also impede its cooling properties. If you do paint it, gloss black would be better. It refracts light better so it will hide things and is easier to clean

The idea wasn't to cover it completely. Whatever was going to be put there would still give good air flow. The billet grille offers more airflow than the oem. Not sure if youve seen the grille but there is a sizable gap between the bars more so than average. I've viewed it at different angles as well as different lighting. In the daylight and shade the radiator is very visible. Painting it my enhance the look but not the fact that I can still see it.

I would have to say this may be your best option, but may be a pain in the ass to clean all the time.

I'm actually considering this. Sounds very doable and cost effective. I'm wondering if I spray the screen material with something to harden it will that make it easier to clean?

If you want something that would block even more out, but would DEFINITELY be a pain in the ass to clean - look at grille cloth for speaker grilles. But i repeat.... it would be a pain in the ass to keep clean - it would however allow it to breathe easy and completely block it out.
