that's awesome, What type of paint did you used for the block and how did you prep it? did you used clear coat and primer?

Second Do you have a part number for the Flexplate and flexplate bolts are you also on a 4L80?

thanks man. I just degreased the block and scuffed it with a red scotchbrite pad. The paint is Duplicolor engine enamel with ceramic and the color is chevy orange/red..I used duplicolor's clear with ceramic to lock it in. It feels like its powder coated.. I'm running a 4l65 so the flexplate won't work for your 80e or the ARP bolts I used. I have a stock 4l80 flexplate with spacer and bolts that's gonna end up in the truck when I go 4l80 and thats what I compared the ARP bolts from Jenna. Those bolts are for a manual camaro or something flywheel.

I see you getting rid of the Vinci cam, what's the next move on your truck? I like the vinci cam in my 6.0, I know i left some power on the table but I like the torque it puts out.

The trucker cam is a great cam, It worked really good with my Supercharger set up, It would pull nice midtop also

Im currently in the process of building a Forged 6.0 haven't decided it to go with a 370 or 408 The machine shop will tell me the specs of the bore once they have time to tear into it.. I kinda want to stay with a shorter stroke so the 370 looks convincing, I'm about to start up a new thread on my Built.

I see that you pin the crank are you planning on going Force induction? If so don't think about it twice, My Supercharger was night and day difference honestly one of the best mods I ever did to the truck..

Put the 4L80 in it and dont look back.

I like the idea of a forged 370. I agree on the shorter stroke and that should handle all the boost you can throw at it and still be reliable. yeah i pinned the crank with plans to boost mine just a matter of catching the right deal on PT.net lol. Its funny cause the 6.0 with the vinci cam feels like a 5.3 with boost. really like the torque it puts out..4.10 gears and she will smoke the tires. no doubt if I drop the trans a 4L80 will go in. I'll be checking out your progress in the meantime.
