My Tahoe has arrived!

I’m at the dealership now, just took it for a test drive, and getting the ball rolling to complete purchase.

First impression is the the Dark Ash Mettalic is WAY WAY WAY more impressive in person than any photos I’ve seen. It REALLY stands out in a crowd.

Second thing I noticed is that the stereo is very underwhelming. Can’t believe they put the Bose name on this. It absolutely needs an upgraded amp and sub. Might have to get that before the new wheels, tbh.

Awesome! Give it a good look over and see if there’s any build issues/paint defects/etc. best to bring those up now than to find them when you get home.

Update: looks like demo mode was the issue with the Bose system. Once I setup the admin account, the stereo was much better. Could still use a bump in the bass dept, but it sounds pretty good.

Also the speed limit sign is empty. Still need to complete the welcome call with onstar, so it may be that, we’ll see.

ah good to know, i thought the sound in ours was pretty decent, better than most stock sound systems I have had. Wondered if something had changed.
