It depends on the year model though. The free updates only apply to the 2007 models, but the newer ones don't get it.

What sort of updates did you get with 5.0?

I downloaded the 5.0 updated and I didn't see any updates to anything other than map data. What else was suppose to be updated?

Someone said better colors, voice commands, and better rear-view camera startup. The dealer told me he THINKS it gives an option to turn on a grid for the camera as well. Stuff like that I guess.
