Water pump decided to start leaking on me last week. Ordered all new ac Delco pump, thermostat & housing, and a new pulley. Spend more time cleaning then actually what it took to swap the parts it was nasty under there. Lol.

only crappy thing well I just don’t like is that the thermostat seems to be a 200° It’s not overheating or doing anything but it hovers around 200-206 pretty consistent. Never gets any hotter or anything but I ordered a 187° to put in there I just prefer it to open a little sooner. Especially in the summer when I’m at shows and it’s idling for hours on end while demoing. Looks nice and clean after a scrubbin. I run a 160* T stat and it does a great job at keeping temps cool even in the 100* summers with AC on blast.

yeah about as clean as it’s gonna get with some purple power lol. Need to go to my buddies place and use his heated pressure washer that thing does ****** work and will make everything look brand new. Luckily it doesn’t get crazy hot around here I usually run 180° without issue. The one I pulled off was the factory 1 piece 195° and it never really had issue. Right now with the cold rolling in the 200° is working fine but when I decide to deal with it and swap them I will. Just hate dealing with the coolant mess haha

Well after the better part of a year I finally got a new front driveline. Winter is here I need 4x4 again now lol. 75E9E1F4-A497-499A-9C64-B1D356BA5CF3.jpeg

and my mirror glass came in. Since I salvaged my old driver side without breaking it I have the new drive side glass still in the box. But my ocd is hurting seeing the old weathered water spotted glass on the driver side. Might end up switching that one out anyways. Well today was stupid. Got all excited to get my front driveline in. Went and bought new straps for it, got it installed in like 5 minutes, and everything seemed great and moved smoothly.

Hopped in, fired it up, put it in 4hi, into drive, and much to my surprise the front wheels weren’t spinning. Never once had a problem with 4wd in this until the driveline threw a cap on me. Everything is working correctly up to the front diff. Front actuator is working correctly.

starting to think that when the front driveline went it’s because something broke in the passenger axle tube where the plunger/fork/actuator gears are. If something got wedged or broke while I was going 80 and put instant lock to the front driveline that would explain why the u joint blew apart.

don’t really know though yet. I need to pull the passenger axle tube and find out what’s going on in there now and find parts to rebuild it.

Also noticed my fog lights were lighting up differently for some reason. One is more blue than the other. Instant thought was the old ass fog light wiring I had installed years ago so I ordered a new kit to replace it in hopes that it was low voltage/bad connection. Well at least I have new wiring in there but the leds are still lighting up slightly different. They still work perfectly fine though so oh well it’ll do for now.
