Need to knock some brains together for a trans issue - Codes Brought to the table
So, put in a new trans, got less then 200 miles on it and it went out. What happened was that I took off a line, in pursuit to enjoy my new shift kit, and as it shifted from 1-2, it shifted harder than it normally did since I put it in and revved up really high, then shifted into 2nd after I let off the gas and I had forward movement. Well I came to a stop and since it shifted into first again, I had zero forward movement, Moving it into D 3 2 1, nothing, however I had reverse fine. So I backed it up and parked it to get towed. Well I got to messing with it a little tonight and started thinking. I pulled the trans fuse and I have D and 3, but no 2 or 1, so it goes into limp mode. Put the fuse back in and lose all forward movement again. I also cannot get the 4WD to activate at all, I press 4HI and it just sits and flashes and flashes and flashes, even after I rock the truck. This makes no difference if the fuse is in or not.
So before I tear out the trans again, I was reading that a sheared input shaft in the TCase could also cause forward movement issues (GM tech writing about it) I put Dex 3 into the Tcase, full to the top, until it was coming out the fill hole.
Let it be known, this transmission was completely rebuilt, not a used one or anything.
Any thoughts?
EDIT - Additionally.... Doubt it makes a difference, I had to cut the cross pipe out to remove the trans, didn't weld it back in, so it leaked and caused an 02 Sensor code to come up. Like I said, doubt this would cause anything, but hey, figured I'd throw it out there too.
EDIT 2 - Also wanted to note, when you press the 4HI, you can hear the actuator "click," so it does make an attempt to lock in 4WD
