sorry about the photo attach attempt as i was working on tapatalk iphone.
yes, i did lurk quite a bit and did remember your comment about the hybrids being an inch lower though it feels/looks to be more than that? I looked at the chevy specs and the difference in height that they listed was around 2", but i'm not sure if they measured to the top of the roof rack to the hybrid's no roof rack. thank you.
here is my thought process on the wheel sizing thing:
-i want zero rubbing ideally, but a little bit i can tolerate and will find a way to trim.
-i want the wheel combo to be as wide as possible for that bulldog/steamroller effect
-i much prefer lipped wheels v. flush as i love the added visual drama the dish provides so no flush oem style wheels 4me
i want the best balanced package, though vanity does get the better part of me sometimes and 24s definitely looked the most proportionally correct on the fullsized suv. 22s aren't the ideal aesthetic in my eyes lip or no lip. the rub is whether i'll be OK with the 24's drive quality. i weighed the 24s i want (pic below) and they're sitting at mid 40s. i believe the stock ltz 20s weigh upper 30s. i wonder how much the stock slade 22s weigh. does gm use the same wheels hybrid v. base?
i'm siding with going with the 22" version of ean's 26s which are called versanti 212s, though im considering not being a pu$$y and going with the 24s. the tires i'm going to pick are pirellis as i like their sidewall/tread pattern the most.
even on 26s at stock height above, it looks great since the black wheels blend in with the tires.
i don't mind losing an mpg or two, but i do mind retaining a quiet, smooth, reliable ride. certainly not 18" OEM wheel/tire smooth, but smooth enough. for example, i like staying in the autostop mode at parking garage crawl speeds. i'm wondering if the added weight kicks you into v8 mode more often where ill miss by big golf cart mode?
