Hey folks I just replaced my front passenger wheel hub and noticed that my brakes need to be replaced and i was thinking about getting these since the price is pretty good for slotted drilled rotors and pads. Has anyone tried these or have any opinion on them?http://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-K2009-Ceramic-One-Click/dp/B005FKXRIC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384205767&sr=8-1&keywords=tahoe+brake+pads#productDetails

Also I noticed it seems like only one side of the brake pads are being used, at least on the passenger side i have not checked the drivers side yet. from what i have read it is most likely the slide pins are stuck. I would also like some input on this issue if anyone has experienced the same problem. I had the same problem in the rear but after changing the pads it seemed to have fixed itself and now both sides are wearing evenly.

Those Powerstop Rotors are definitely good rotors. I have them on both my Suburban and the wife's Altima. The Powerstop Evolution pads though, I don't quite like them as much as the rotors. Bought that kit for the Altima about 4 years ago. I was so impressed with the rotors that I bought a set for my Suburban. But I hated the large amount of dust created by the Evolution pads, so I went with Wagner pads on my truck (and I couldn't be happier). I just had to replace the pads of wifeys car with Wagners since the Powerstop Evolution pads just recently reached the end of their lifespan and started sqealing bad. The Wagner Thermoquiet pads can be found at most parts stores for about $50 a pair with a lifetime warranty, or for about $35 plus shipping at rock auto. I got my pads from Advance auto parts so I would be able to swap them out locally should I ever need to replace them. The rotors I got for $100 a pair shipped from Brakemotive on EBay. So I spent right around $300 for front and rear Powerstop rotors and Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramic pads.

Thanks that is good to know, these seem like almost too good of a price for a set of rotors and pads. Were these the same size as the stock ones? I saw in the Q&As that a couple people said they were small. I'm not sure how big ours are for sure but I would think that these being 14" that anything bigger wouldn't fit.

I've used the pads, ceramic, wasn't very impressed. Went back too semi metallics, love em.

As for calipers sticking. Would get some new hardware from auto parts store. Shims ect.. and some good brake caliper lube. Just clean evetything really good, remove all old grease and grime, re-grease slides, contact points and were pads mount. Would even suggest flushing entire old fluid out, and put new in. Went to synthetic myself, higher boiling point.

The ones I ordered were all the same exact size as my stock rotors. I have heard of a LOT of people having issues with the rear ones though, mainly because they do not pay attention to what size rear rotors they have. Silverado and Sierra have smaller rear brake rotors with single piston rear calipers. The SUVs have larger rear rotors with dual piston rear calipers. I have heard that there are actually two different sized rear rotors even if you have dual piston calipers. I measured my stock ones and ordered the same size.

Well I placed the order and they should be here Saturday so i'm going to get them in right away and ill let you guys know what I think when i get them on. I'm going to replace the fluid and hopefully get them to slide better so i don't wear one side of the pads again.
