I've only installed front actuators but I'm sure it's the same.

Move the blend door to match the position of the actuator it's self. Mount it before you plug the wires into it. Don't try to activate the motor to match it to where the old one came out.

Don't ask me how I know. Lol. Won't do that again.

Haha...I can only imagine. Sounds easy enough to do. I just took a look at some how-to write-ups and I think I can handle this one. Stay tuned for me throwing a fit about how much it cost to pay the mechanic to fix it after I tried....lol.

I could throw in some duck to sweeten the deal, though.

Wow, that's unusual. I can get it locally for $55. Usually things already here at the parts stores are about 40% more than I can get them on the internet. Now I just need my wife to quit stealing the truck before I have a chance to work on it....

That's the problem with only having one of these and the other car is a POS old Toyota; we both try to be the first one out the door so we can take the Denali. ;)

Got it changed out. No idea yet if it did anything about the noise. It typically doesn't start until you've driven for a bit. Son got a fever so I didn't have time to tinker with the A/C and heat and see if it fixed anything. Not really even sure how to tell if I got it in/on right, it just sort of fit one way so I'm assuming I did.

ETA: After some time driving around, I can't replicate the duck noise. Cool air is again blowing in back.

Good call, guys! Thanks for the help. Once again TYF members have saved me a bunch of money by helping me do it myself.
